Shipping & Returns

Currently, we only ship within Denmark's borders, but not to the Faroe Islands and Greenland.

Delivery with DAO

We offer free delivery on all orders that is sent with DAO. DAO delivers 365 days of the year, from Monday-Sunday, including public holidays when other carriers do not work.

You can choose from two options:

daoHOME (0.00 DKK) :

Expected Shipping time: 2-4 days
The parcels are delivered to your doorstep as Flex Delivery during the night and in the early morning hours (usually between 03:00-08:00). Please note that with daoHOME, you don't sign the package upon delivery. It means that DAO can leave the package in front of your door, or somewhere safe. If it is not possible to deliver the package to your door, e.g. due to a locked apartment entrance or if it is found unsafe to leave the package there, DAO will take it to the nearest daoSHOP. Here, you also receive a text message or e-mail with further information about your package.

daoSHOP (0.00 DKK):

Expected Shipping time: 2-4 days
Delivery to your local DAO Pakkeshop. There are over 1200 daoSHOP spread all over Denmark, you can find your nearest here. If you don't like the concept of receiving your package at your doorstep during the night/early morning and would rather collect it during the day, this option is for you.

With all DAO shipments you receive a track & trace number. Track your DAO package here. You will be notified when the package is on its way. You will also receive a notification via. SMS/e-mail when the  package is delivered to you or when it is ready for collection at your daoSHOP. Due to our delivery times, we do not send SMS notifications before 07:00.

 

Delivery with GLS

GLS Home Delivery (39.00 DKK):

Expected Shipping time: 1-2 business days

GLS  typically deliver the parcels at the address between 7.00 am and 4.00 pm, and you must be available for parcel delivery. If you are not home to receive the parcel, GLS can place the parcel at the agreed location without receipt. If it is considered unsafe, GLS will either take the parcel to a Parcel Shop for your pick up or return it to our depot. In both cases, GLS will inform you about this.

GLS PakkeShop Delivery (39.00 DKK):

Expected Shipping time: 1-2 business days

GLS delivers most packages to private recipients in Denmark via its PakkeShops. Find your nearest GLS PakkeShop here 

When the parcel is ready for dispatch, or when it is delivered and ready for your pick up in the ParcelShop, GLS will send a notification with the necessary information. It is therefore important that you ensure that both mail address and mobile number is correct when you checkout. You will also receive a Track&Trace code once the package is on the way. Track your GLS package here.

 

Delivery with PostNord

MyPack Collect (39 DKK):

Expected Shipping time: 1-3 business days

PostNord delivers your parcel to a collection point located near you. With MyPack Collect, you can track the progress of the parcel until it is handed over to the collection point. You receive a notification via SMS, email or the PostNord app, when the parcel can be collected from the post office. Flexible and easy.

With all PostNord shipments you receive a Track&Trace number. Track your PostNord packages here.

 

We're continuously working on improving and broadening our delivery options to make shopping with us more convenient. To offer the best packaging and the quickest delivery your order may be sent in two or more shipments. This will be highlighted in the tracking information that you will receive with your tracking email. Your parcels may arrive at different days and times, but you will always be able to track the shipment on the shipping carriers website. ​

 

Returns

We stand behind our products and want you to be satisfied with your purchase which is why we offer returns within the first 25 days from the day your order is delivered. Stock up your kitchen, feel the products in your hand and if you're not happy, send it back! No questions ask.

Our policy lasts 25 days. If 25 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 
To initiate a return please contact customer service at returns@komorebi-knife.com.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 25 days after delivery


Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
